Dry set the tile on a flat surface we used paper faced glass mosaic tiles.
In our case we went with 3 tile strips per side.

They re a little harder to work with than mesh backed glass tiles but they re typically cheaper and you can t see the mesh backing through the glass.

Frame the outside of the mosaic mirror with the two x 1 x 23 inch boards and the two x 1 x 25 inch boards.
This stuff makes applying tile so much easier you don t have to mix up messy mortar just cut the same size as your tile press on the mirror peel off paper press tile firmly.
I trimmed the mosaic tile sheets in 5 piece strips and used push pins to hold it on the wall to form a template and then marked the outline of where the mirror would go with a pencil.
Secure boards with nails.
